Job summary

Aya Healthcare is seeking a Director of Market Development to identify and expand strategic healthcare partnerships across markets. You will engage hospital and health-system executives, align priorities to workforce optimization, and present Aya as a strategic partner rather than a staffing vendor.

You will lead discovery, presentations, and negotiations while collaborating with sales and program teams to deliver measurable value and long-term client growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, marketing, nursing or related field; equivalent experience may be considered
• Seven+ years of healthcare business development or strategic sales experience
• Proven success selling complex solutions to hospitals or health systems
• Ability to engage senior executives and influence multiple stakeholders
• Strong understanding of healthcare operations, labor economics and workforce strategy
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, communication and relationship-management skills
• Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned market and nationally as needed

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute market-development strategies that drive new business, revenue growth and long-term client partnerships
• Build trusted relationships with C-suite executives and senior leaders in nursing, HR, finance, operations, supply chain and workforce management
• Identify healthcare organizations with labor-cost, staffing, recruitment or capacity challenges
• Present Aya as a strategic workforce partner rather than a traditional staffing vendor
• Position and coordinate Aya solutions including MSP, nursing staffing, locum recruitment, permanent recruitment, workforce management tech
• Lead consultative discovery meetings, executive presentations, proposals and negotiations
• Develop executive-level business cases with internal teams to demonstrate measurable value
• Monitor labor-market trends and represent Aya at industry events
• Promote a culture of responsiveness, accountability, collaboration and care for clients
