Job summary

Points of Light, the world's largest organization focused on volunteer service, seeks a Director of Event Fundraising & Strategic Sponsorships. This remote-first role leads fundraising strategy across awards, conferences, and gatherings, developing sponsorship opportunities and guiding teams to secure partnerships.

You will manage a priority portfolio, cultivate high-value sponsors, and use Salesforce to forecast revenue and drive pipeline in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in fundraising, sales, events, or related field.
• Experience securing corporate/institutional sponsorships.
• Willingness to travel up to 35%.
• Ability to build and manage sponsor portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Lead revenue development for awards and conferences.
• Develop and manage multi-year sponsorship pipeline.
• Cultivate and solicit priority sponsors.
• Forecast revenue and monitor pipeline in Salesforce.
