Job summary

Circular Action Alliance is seeking a Director - End Market Development for a fully remote US role. You will lead strategic planning and partnership development to grow end-market recycling facilities, focusing on plastics and fiber, while aligning with EPR obligations.

The role reports to the VP End Markets and requires strong operations background, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration within PPO and Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of operational experience in business development and expansion, ideally in recycling facilities or similar.
• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Driver's License with clean driving history.
• Strong negotiation and contract management capabilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; effective communicator.

Responsibilities

• Strategic planning for end markets with multi-year development strategy.
• Identify ideal partners and lead engagement to drive expansion.
• Analyze business cases, feasibility studies, and capital plans.
• Represent and maintain relationships with end-market facilities' exec teams.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure data collection of end-market capacities.
• Oversee third-party audits and environmental assessments; manage funding agreements.
