Job summary

Insurance Office of America is recruiting a Director, Commercial Lines for a fully remote role with preferred Central Time Zone hours. You will lead national Commercial Lines operations, standardize workflows, and drive efficiency across the brokerage while partnering with executives and producers.

The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years in commercial lines leadership, an active P&C license, and CPCU/CIC designation preferred. Strong analytics, change leadership, and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience in a large insurance brokerage or agency.
• Experience with workflow standardization and process optimization.
• Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions and operational integration initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines initiatives with senior leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions to improve efficiency and client outcomes.
• Establish standardized Commercial Lines workflows and best practices.
• Lead process improvements to increase productivity and reduce variation.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable improvements.
• Analyze staffing models and capacity for growth.
• Align Managed Services to organizational goals.
• Provide national expertise on Commercial P&C operations and platforms.
• Support M&A integration through planning and standardization.
• Collaborate with producers, operations, and leadership to drive adoption of new processes.
• Promote effective use of EPIC, reporting tools, and tech platforms.
• Use metrics and BI to drive performance improvements.
• Lead organizational change and professional development.
