Job summary

PRIME AE Group, Inc. in Massachusetts is seeking a Director of Bridge Design to join our team and lead the bridge and structural design practice across Massachusetts and New England. You will guide technical delivery, mentor staff, and strengthen client relationships with transportation agencies and partners.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, a P.E. license (Massachusetts), and a track record of delivering complex transportation projects.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Significant progressive experience in bridge/structural engineering and leadership.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license with Massachusetts licensure.
• Strong technical expertise in bridge design, analysis, rehabilitation, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, technical, and operational leadership for bridge and structural design.
• Oversee delivery of bridge design, rehabilitation, replacement, and related projects.
• Mentor staff, manage workload, and ensure quality, scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop relationships with state DOTs, municipalities, and agencies; pursue opportunities to expand the portfolio.
• Lead business development, proposals, and strategic teaming initiatives.
