Job summary

Jobgether SRL in the United States is seeking a Director, Applications - Claims Processing to lead the claims processing portfolio, drive cloud-native architectures on Azure, and oversee AI-enabled development and DevOps practices across teams.

This fully remote, executive role partners with Claims Operations, Product, Health Plans, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions, improve efficiency, and ensure HIPAA-compliant governance.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years in IT applications or software development in large organizations (healthcare preferred).
• At least 3 years in management or tech leadership building high-performing teams.
• Advanced Microsoft Azure expertise (App Services, Functions, AKS, Azure SQL, Data Factory, Synapse).
• Strong proficiency with Visual Studio and AI-assisted development (GitHub Copilot, Azure AI).
• Experience leading enterprise QA automation, CI/CD, Agile, DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of low-code platforms (Pega, Salesforce, Sitecore) and their integration.
• Healthcare payer experience (Medicare/Medicaid/Marketplace) and regulatory needs.
• Experience with .NET, serverless, IaC, CI/CD, Jira/MS Project, Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Lead the claims custom-solutions portfolio across adjudication, payment integrity, provider reimbursement, and workflows.
• Govern solution intake, prioritization, funding, delivery, and lifecycle management of claims-related apps.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions.
• Develop and mentor Forward Deployed Engineers focusing on end-to-end ownership.
• Champion AI-first development using Azure AI services and Copilot tools.
