Job summary

Bay6.ai seeks a Director of AI Strategy & Delivery to lead the strategic direction of its AI practice and serve as the principal technical authority for the client portfolio.

The role requires deep hands-on architecture experience, leadership in Gen AI/ML, and the ability to guide executives on investments, roadmap sequencing, and governance across concurrent engagements. Remote work is supported in the U.S. market.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in technology delivery with leadership in Gen AI and ML.
• Proven track record setting multi-year technical strategy and defending it to executives.
• Experience owning AI/ML solution architecture on client engagements from presales to production.
• Strong ability to advise executives on AI investments and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction of Bay6.ai’s AI practice and determine in-house vs partner capabilities.
• Advise executives on AI strategy, sequencing investments, and defining defensible value.
• Lead technical presales discovery and build prototypes to win engagements.
• Own architecture governance across engagements and define repeatable standards.
• Design and oversee production agentic systems with governance and risk controls.
• Manage delivery across multiple concurrent engagements and ensure portfolio health.
