Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required; AA/BA/BS preferred.
• Two or more years related experience with persons with disabilities.
• Valid health certificate to meet funding jurisdiction requirements.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a good driving record.
• SJCS background check requirements must be met.

Responsibilities

• Perform all the duties of a Direct Support Professional.
• Provide remote assistance across multiple locations to persons living independently.
• Multi-task to ensure DSP duties are performed adequately while providing remote support.
• Observe alerts and exterior cameras to ensure safety, privacy, independence and dignity.
• Maintain documentation related to Remote Support as it occurs.
• Communicate with Night Monitor, Program Coordinator, and Program Director about needs and issues.
