Job summary

St. Johns Community Services is seeking a Remote Direct Support Professional to assist individuals in living independently through technology-enabled supports.

You will monitor and respond to alerts, coordinate with night staff, and document remote activities while upholding person-centered practices. Applicants should have a High School diploma or GED, at least two years of related experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work across multiple locations with strong communication

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two or more years related experience with persons with disabilities required.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license required.
• Must meet SJCS and funding jurisdiction background checks.
• Valid health certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote assistance across multiple locations to persons living independently.
• Observe alerts and exterior cameras to ensure safety and privacy.
• Communicate with Night Monitor, Program Coordinator, and Program Director about needs and tech issues.
• Documentation related to Remote Support.
• Implement Individual Support Plan and maintain relationships with persons served.
