Job summary

Mint Source is hiring a Direct Response Copywriter (Creative Strategist) to shape high-performing static ads for DTC and e-commerce brands. You’ll research brands and customers, build messaging strategies, develop personas, and write the headlines that drive every static ad the agency ships.

A full creative team executes on briefs, elevating your copy to guide brand direction. You’ll work remotely in a fast-paced environment with a dedicated team, leveraging AI tools daily to speed up research

Qualifications

• Proven direct response copywriting experience for DTC or e-commerce brands.
• Strong research methodology using customer insights, reviews, and competitor analysis.
• Experience with AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT.
• Ability to develop messaging strategies, personas and creative briefs.
• Comfortable working across multiple brands in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Write pattern-interrupting headlines for static ads across multiple brands.
• Produce multiple headline variations on a single angle, each with a distinct voice.
• Research customer insights across reviews, Reddit, competitor ads, and real customer language.
• Develop research-backed personas and messaging strategies for each account.
• Build creative forecasts and hypothesis tables mapping angles to test next.
• Turn research into briefs covering angles, headlines, and visual direction for in-house design.
• Analyze ad accounts to understand what's working, what's fatiguing, and where gaps exist.
• Push into new angles and formats based on performance data.
• Use Meta Ad Library to reverse-engineer competitor creative and catch emerging patterns.
• Use AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT daily for research, persona building, and workflow acceleration.
