Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a remote Copywriter on a contract basis to develop direct mail copy across products and audiences. You will collaborate with art directors, creative directors, and marketing partners to translate strategy into compelling communications that strengthen the brand and customer experience.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of professional copywriting experience with strong direct mail and copy-editing skills. A portfolio link is mandatory, and fintech experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years of professional copywriting experience.
• Strong direct mail copywriting and copy-editing experience.
• Financial services or fintech experience preferred.
• Portfolio link must accompany résumé.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Produce creative copy for a range of products within the Direct Mail Print channel.
• Brainstorm concepts and collaborate with art directors, creative directors, and marketing strategists.
• Partner with internal marketing and line-of-business stakeholders.
• Create marketing that cuts through the noise using strategy to inform decisions.
• Apply integrated thinking across channels, products, and audiences while maintaining brand consistency.
• Incorporate consumer insights to influence work and improve customer experiences.
• Manage multiple deadlines and deliver error-free work with attention to detail.
• Listen to and incorporate feedback, determining when to use existing solutions or build new ones.
• Understand project goals, take direction, ask clarifying questions, and present work clearly.
