Job summary

Eliassen Group seeks a Copywriter to develop creative direct mail copy across products and audiences, collaborating with art directors, creative directors, and marketing partners to translate strategy and insights into effective communications that strengthen the brand and customer experience.

The role is remote during the contract, with a 6-month term, workload of 60% writing and 40% editing, and a firm maximum bill rate of $55.63/hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of professional copywriting experience.
• Experience in direct mail copywriting and copy-editing.
• Portfolio link must accompany résumé.

Responsibilities

• Produce creative copy for a range of products within Direct Mail Print channel.
• Brainstorm concepts and execute detail-oriented projects with designers and strategists.
• Partner with internal marketing and line-of-business stakeholders.
• Create marketing that cuts through the noise using strategy to inform decisions.
• Apply integrated thinking across channels, products, and audiences while maintaining brand consistency.
• Incorporate consumer insights to influence work and improve customer experiences.
• Manage multiple deadlines and deliver error-free work with attention to detail.
• Listen to and incorporate feedback, determining when to use existing solutions or build new ones.
• Understand project goals, take direction, ask clarifying questions, and present work clearly to varied audiences.
