Job summary

Eliassen Group seeks a remote Copywriter to develop direct mail print copy, collaborating with art directors, creative directors, and marketing partners to translate strategy into effective communications for Capital One campaigns.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of copywriting experience, strong editing skills, and a portfolio. Fintech experience is a plus; this is a 6-month W2 contract with benefits on a remote basis.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of professional copywriting experience.
• Strong direct mail copywriting and copy-editing experience.
• Portfolio required; a link must accompany résumé.
• Financial services or fintech experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce creative copy for a range of products within the Direct Mail Print channel.
• Brainstorm concepts and execute projects with art directors, creative directors, and marketing strategists.
• Partner with internal marketing and line-of-business stakeholders.
• Create marketing that uses strategy to inform decisions and cuts through the noise.
• Apply integrated thinking across channels, products, and audiences while maintaining brand consistency.
• Incorporate consumer insights to influence work and improve customer experiences.
• Manage multiple deadlines and deliver error-free work with attention to detail.
• Listen to feedback and decide when to reuse solutions or build new ones.
• Understand goals, take direction, ask clarifying questions, and present work clearly to varied audiences.
