Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Copywriter for a remote, 6-month contract with potential extension or conversion. You will develop direct mail copy and edit for accuracy, collaborating with art directors, creative directors, and marketing partners to translate strategy into compelling communications.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of professional copywriting, a strong portfolio, and fintech/financial services experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional copywriting experience.
• Portfolio link is required with résumé.
• Strong direct mail copywriting and copy-editing experience.
• Excellent grammar and punctuation.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Produce creative copy for a range of products within the Direct Mail Print channel.
• Brainstorm concepts and execute detailed projects with designers and marketing strategists.
• Partner with internal marketing and line-of-business stakeholders.
• Create marketing using strategy to inform decisions.
• Apply integrated thinking across channels, products, and audiences while maintaining brand consistency.
• Incorporate consumer insights to influence work and improve customer experiences.
• Manage multiple deadlines and deliver error-free work with attention to detail.
• Listen to and incorporate feedback, deciding when to reuse solutions or build new ones.
• Understand project goals, take direction, ask clarifying questions, and present work clearly to varied audiences.
