Job summary

RTX seeks an Associate Director, Digital Workforce Strategy & Talent Development to lead talent strategies, workforce planning, and early career programs for the Digital Organization.

Reporting to the Director of Digital Operations and Governance, you will partner with HR, talent acquisition, and business leaders to align workforce planning with strategic priorities and build resilient leadership and technical talent pipelines. This is a remote U.S.-based position.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and 12+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 10+ years of experience.
• Experience building strategic workforce plans tied to digital technology.
• Experience designing or leading leadership development or employee engagement programs.
• Master’s degree in organizational psychology or related field.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or similar regulated industry.
• Demonstrated experience with skills taxonomies and skills-based talent practices.

Responsibilities

• Build supply-and-demand gap analyses and develop learning opportunities for critical skills in AI/ML, data, cloud, etc.
• Establish a digital skills taxonomy in partnership with HR for planning, hiring, learning and mobility.
• Design and coordinate a structured intern experience with mentorship and leadership engagement.
• Lead a strategic roadmap for the Digital Leadership Development Program and rotations.
• Benchmark and establish cadence for talent reviews and succession planning.
• Partner with leaders to align priorities, technologies, and future workforce needs.
