Job summary

Market My Market is seeking a Digital PR Contractor to own end-to-end media outreach for a portfolio of legal, dental, and medical clients. You will report to the Director of PR and collaborate with our Digital PR team to secure placements, links, and expert positioning in top publications.

Ahead of outreach, you’ll scan the news cycle, build targeted media lists, and run daily outreach via Qwoted and journalist relationships.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in PR, digital PR, media relations, or journalism, with hands-on outreach experience.
• Strong, fast writing with ability to simplify complex topics.
• Ability to generate angles and multiple ideas for client stories across cycles.
• Able to manage multiple campaigns and client portfolios simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Campaign Execution: Run PR campaigns from brief through outreach, follow-up, and results, managing daily tasks, timelines, and deliverables across multiple clients.
• Media Relationships & Outreach: Build and maintain relationships with reporters and editors, lead proactive outreach and disciplined follow-up, and track reporter preferences and beats.
• Pitch Writing & Storytelling: Write pitches reporters actually open—tailored to the outlet and angle across proactive and reactive opportunities.
• Reactive Media: Monitor the news cycle for opportunities and pitch reporters quickly with timely angles.
• Source Requests: Respond daily to journalist source requests on Qwoted and similar platforms, matching experts to queries.
• Thought Leadership & Expert Positioning: Identify angles and brief content teams to align commentary with outlet needs.
• Data-Led Campaigns: Support campaigns by sourcing data and shaping angles around numbers.
• Media List Building & Targeting: Build targeted media lists with tools and manual research.
• Reporting: Track coverage, links, and outreach performance and report findings.
• Competitive Intelligence: Monitor competitor coverage and identify authority gaps for differentiation.
• Collaboration: Work with content, Client Experience, and PR leadership to keep campaigns aligned.
