Job summary

United for Respect is seeking an Electoral Organizer to join our Civic Engagement Team. The role focuses on empowering volunteers and supporters to engage voters and organize their personal networks to elect working families at the ballot box.

Based in MI or GA with remote work, you will recruit, train, and coordinate organizing actions, track outreach in EveryAction and VAN, and collaborate with partners. Contract through Nov 30, 2026; base pay $5,000/month plus a $500 healthcare stipend.

Qualifications

• Two electoral cycles experience in campaigns or organizing.
• Experience with distributed organizing preferred.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership development skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, mobilize, and train a diverse group of UFR leaders, members, and supporters statewide to make phone calls, send texts, and write letters to elect chosen candidates.
• Track all volunteer outreach and engagement in EveryAction/VAN and submit daily reports.
• Plan and execute organizing actions, events, and trainings, including phone banks, text banks, virtual meetings, and friend-to-friend organizing events.
• Develop relationships with Coordinated Campaign partners and other progressive leaders in the community and work with them on events and activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
