NextGen America is seeking a creative Distributed Organizing Manager to join our Distributed Organizing team. The role focuses on building digital communities, engaging young voters, and mobilizing volunteers through peer-to-peer texting and distributed tools in a fully remote setting.

You will train volunteers, run P2P campaigns, draft guides, pull data metrics, and report on progress. Strong writing, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced team are essential.

Qualifications

• Familiarity administering peer-to-peer texting campaigns on platforms such as Scale to Win Text, Hustle, ThruText, Spoke, or similar.
• Experience in field or digital positions on political campaigns, training volunteers, OR managing online communities.
• Exceptional writing, copyediting, and proofreading skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to adapt to evolving priorities and deadlines.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail; able to collaborate in a fast-paced team.

• Execute a values-driven, data-informed distributed organizing program to recruit, train, and organize remote volunteers to hit voter contact goals.
• Run regular P2P campaigns including data requests, script creation, QA, launches, and debriefs.
• Draft and edit training guides, memos, templates, and toolkits for volunteers across multiple platforms.
• Lead trainings or workshops and coach volunteers before, during, or after shifts.
• Pull regular data metrics and write progress reports on the impact of direct voter contact.
• Recruit, train, and engage volunteer leaders and be a digital community manager.

DigitalOrganizing Manager (Remote)

THE ROLE:

NextGen America is currently seeking a creative, self-starting Distributed Organizing Manager to join our Distributed Organizing team. The distributed organizing team will work to build and grow strong digital communities to help engage with young voters, expand ballot access, and elect progressives up and down the ballot. We are looking for organizers to spread the #YouthVote across digital networks, recruit folks online into strong volunteer networks, and lead volunteer teams in direct voter contact using peer-to-peer (P2P) texting in Scale to Win Text and other distributed tools.

WHAT YOU’LL ACHIEVE:

• Execute a values-driven and data-informed distributed organizing program with a team that will recruit, train, and organize remote volunteers to hit voter contact and mobilization goals in key 2026races and states.
• Run regular P2P campaigns including data requests, script and campaign drafting, QA process, campaign launch, and debrief and clean up.
• Draft and edit training guides, memos, templates, and toolkits to support volunteers’ direct voter contact over email, phone, text, Slack, and other platforms.
• Lead trainings or workshops and coach our volunteers before, during, or after their shifts
• Pull regular data metrics and write regular progress qualitative and quantitative reports on the impact of direct voter contact.
• Recruit, train, and engage a team of volunteer leaders.
• Be a digital community manager and administrator.
• Perform other duties as assigned

ABOUT YOU:

• Familiarity administering and managing peer-to-peer texting campaigns on platforms such as Scale to Win Text, Hustle, ThruText (formerly Relay), Spoke, and/or others.
• Experience in either field or digital positions on political campaigns, training volunteers, OR have managed and grown active online communities.
• Exceptional writing, copyediting, and proofreading skills.
• The candidate must have excellent organizational skills, and demonstrate a clear ability to adapt rapidly to evolving priorities and deadlines.
• They must have a strong work ethic and demonstrate consistent attention to detail.
• Able to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced team setting.
• Demonstrate strong team working skills by fostering a supportive and motivating atmosphere.

BONUS POINTS FOR:

• Experience growing and managing digital volunteer teams.
• Experience and comfortability with leading digital trainings and/or events
• Proficiency with advocacy CRM tools such as NGP VAN, Mobilize, and Action Network Experience working with multiple tools within the Google Workspace.

SALARY INFORMATION:

The starting salary range for this position is $72,000 - $85,000. The final base salary will be determined by various factors, including individual qualifications and internal parity, which will be objectively assessed during the interview process.
