Job summary

International Rescue Committee in Seattle is seeking a Digital Content & Marketing Coordinator to support WA-Immigrant.Info. The role focuses on development, management, and dissemination of quality, verified client-facing information, and overseeing the WA-Immigrant.Info Facebook and Instagram content strategy.

You will collaborate with specialists to publish content, monitor engagement, and coordinate translations.

Qualifications

BA/BS or equivalent experience in multimedia journalism, digital communications, or relevant field.
Minimum 2+ years of reporting, writing, or editing experience.
Minimum 2+ years of digital content management experience, including for online platforms and social media.
Knowledge of graphic design software (Canva or Adobe Products) and SEO; experience with CMS.
Knowledge of immigration and refugee issues; prior work in immigration field desired.

Responsibilities

Ensure content is accurate, complete, easy to understand and engaging.
Collaborate on, edit written and multimedia content built by WA Immigrant Information Center team.
Define, implement, and monitor digital advertising campaigns – both paid and organic.
Publish relevant and appropriate content on the WA Immigrant Information Center platforms.
Monitor traffic and feedback emanating from WA Immigrant Information Center platform.
Contribute to the communication strategy in collaboration with the Information & Referral Services Manager.
Use translation-management software and other tools to prepare content for publication.
Continuously ensure that the editorial content is up to date.
Review and track metrics to adapt messaging and resources, based on engagement.
Monitor web and social media performance indicators, review, and track metrics within Zendesk.
Work with IT to resolve technical issues across platforms.
Draft reports on WA-Immigrant.Info content.
Coordinate with Digital Content Creator to develop social media posts, captions, graphics, and dissemination schedule.
Manage article workflow, translations on Box and in Monday.com.
