Job summary

IRC Seattle is seeking a Digital Content & Marketing Coordinator to support WA-Immigrant.Info, developing, managing, and disseminating high-quality client-facing information; overseeing social content on Facebook and Instagram; collaborating with publishers, editors, and translators; coordinating campaigns and measuring impact.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in digital content management, strong writing and editing skills, familiarity with SEO, CMS, and graphic design tools, and fluency in

Qualifications

• BA/BS in multimedia journalism, digital communications, or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of reporting, writing, or editing experience.
• Minimum 2+ years of digital content management experience for online platforms and social media.
• Knowledge of graphic design software (Canva or Adobe products) preferred.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience using CMS.
• Knowledge of immigration and refugee issues; previous work in immigration field desired.

Responsibilities

• Ensure content is accurate, complete, easy to understand, and engaging.
• Collaborate on, edit written and multimedia content built by WA-Immigrant.Info team.
• Define, implement, and monitor digital advertising campaigns – both paid and organic.
• Publish relevant content on WA-Immigrant.Info digital platforms.
• Monitor traffic and feedback from WA-Immigrant.Info platform.
• Contribute to the communication strategy in collaboration with the Information & Referral Services Manager.
• Use translation-management software and other tools to prepare content for publication.
• Continuously ensure editorial content is up to date; track metrics and adapt messaging.
• Review and track metrics in Zendesk, propose improvements to strategy.
• Work with IT team to resolve technical issues across platforms.
• Draft reports on WA-Immigrant.Info content; coordinate with Digital Content Creator for posts, captions, graphics, and dissemination schedule.
• Manage article workflow including drafting, coordinating with legal, translations on Box and Monday.com.
