Job summary

Rainforest Action Network is seeking a full-time International Digital Campaign Strategist to lead digital campaigning for forest protection with a Japan-focused angle. The role may be based in Tokyo, remotely from anywhere in the US, or from the San Francisco office.

You will design campaigns, write compelling content in English and Japanese, and coordinate across time zones to support campaigns in the UK, Japan and Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Japanese for advocacy writing and outreach.
• Experience using eCRM platforms (NationBuilder, Engaging Networks, EveryAction, Salsa, Convio).
• Strong writing skills for online advocacy, emails, blogs, and social media.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute digital campaigns to move corporate targets.
• Build, test, and deploy online action pages and emails.
• Analyze data from Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and other tools to improve campaigns.
• Grow Japan-focused channels and manage social media outreach.
