Job summary

Pomelo Care is seeking a registered dietitian to join its virtual network on a 1099 independent contractor basis. You will conduct synchronous video visits, provide personalized nutrition care, and support midlife patients through multi-week programs.

Flexible scheduling is offered, with compensation per visit and no guaranteed minimums. As a remote practitioner, you’ll work with patients nationwide, leveraging Pomelo’s credentialing, billing, and administrative support to focus on clinical care

Qualifications

• Must hold RD/RDN with Indiana license.
• Commit to at least 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• Minimum 3 years of evidence-based nutrition therapy experience for metabolic syndrome, weight management, osteoporosis, gut health, and plant-based diets.

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits with patients navigating midlife, perimenopause, and menopause transitions.
• Provide one-on-one virtual nutrition care via phone and video calls to facilitate lifestyle change and enhance patients’ wellbeing.
• Work closely with patients in a multi-week program format to support symptom improvement and sustained behavior change in patients experiencing perimenopause.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation.
• Follow applicable clinical, documentation, privacy, quality, and compliance standards for visits conducted through Pomelo.
