Landauer is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Physicist with a home office based in North Carolina or South Carolina. The position requires excellent verbal and written communication to interact with health care professionals daily and a quick learner who is a great team player.

Responsibilities include performing medical physics surveys across radiographic, fluoroscopic, breast imaging, ultrasound, CT, MRI, stereotactic breast biopsy and PET/SPECT/SPECT-CT systems; supporting ACR accreditation

Qualificações

• Master’s degree or higher in health physics, physics, medical physics, biomedical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in imaging physics practice areas such as Health Physics, Radiation Safety, Mammography, MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, PET, Radiological/Fluoroscopy Surveys, Ultrasound.
• Ability to learn new procedures quickly and apply knowledge to new topics.
• Ability to develop processes for team efficiency and speed.
• Strong use of verbal and written communication to lead teams or clients.
• Proficiency with laptop and cloud-based workflow tools.
• Eligible for registration in NC, SC and VA; ABR certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform medical physics surveys of radiographic, fluoroscopic, breast imaging, ultrasound, CT, MRI, PET/SPECT/SPECT-CT imaging systems.
• Support of ACR Accreditation surveys.
• Perform nuclear medicine surveys including gamma cameras, PET, and RAM license support.
• Prepare reports with data analysis, observations and follow-up actions.
• Support Radioactive Materials License and Radiation Safety.
