Job summary

Fluke Health Solutions in North Carolina is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Physicist able to work from a home office. The role requires conducting comprehensive medical physics surveys across radiographic, fluoroscopic, breast imaging, ultrasound, CT, MRI and nuclear medicine systems, and supporting accreditation processes.

You will travel to NC, SC and VA locations, prepare precise reports, ensure radiation safety compliance, and help with RAM licensing.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in health physics, physics, medical physics, biomedical engineering.
• Experience in Imaging Physics including Health Physics, Radiology Safety, Mammography, MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, PET, Ultrasound.
• Ability to learn new procedures quickly and apply knowledge.
• ABR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical physics surveys for radiographic, fluoroscopic, breast imaging, ultrasound, CT, MRI, PET/SPECT imaging systems.
• Support of ACR Accreditation surveys.
• Perform nuclear medicine surveys including gamma cameras, PET, RAM license support.
• Prepare reports with data analysis, observations and follow-up recommendations.
• Support Radiation Safety and Radioactive Materials License compliance.
• Travel to NC/SC/VA locations; occasional overnight stays.
