Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of underwriting individual disability insurance.
• $15K+ approval authority in individual disability insurance underwriting.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite complex DI cases end-to-end for MassMutual clients.
• Provide expert underwriting guidance to field partners and advisors.
• Communicate decisions clearly to agents, brokers and staff.
• Mentor less experienced underwriters and share best practices.
• Influence process improvements and support operational excellence.
