Job summary

Eaton is seeking a DFSS Specialist in Raleigh, NC with hybrid work options at Arden, NC, Fayetteville, NC, or Greenwood, SC. The role focuses on deploying DFSS, Six Sigma, and robust product engineering to improve processes and outcomes. Travel up to 50% to multiple sites is required.

The ideal candidate has a 5+ year engineering background and a certified Six Sigma Black Belt (or equivalent). Relocation assistance may be offered within 50 miles of the listed sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years engineering experience.
• Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or Design for Six Sigma Black Belt or DMAIC.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now and in the future.
• Must be able to travel up to 50% to Eaton sites in Greenwood, SC, Fayetteville, NC and Arden, NC.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy DFSS, Six Sigma, and Robust Product Engineering programs.
• Lead DFSS deployment for Top 5 NPD programs.
• Mentor and train Black/Green Belts in DFSS and statistical analysis.
• Ensure flawless product/process launches using DFSS methodologies.
• Drive cost reduction and implement proactive improvement initiatives.
