Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, or related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a technical role.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in advanced (R&D) engineering or new product development programs.
• DFSS Greenbelt certification.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead comprehensive system reliability and safety program plans; track progress and recommend gate decisions.
• Lead DfR initiatives for electrical distribution and control systems; define reliability and safety requirements.
• Build system-level reliability models and manage a system reliability growth plan.
• Support PROLaunch/DFSS projects and deploy Black/Green Belt resources.
• Lead cross-functional problem-solving teams using A3 and 8D methodologies; implement corrective actions.
• Analyze warranty and field failure data; establish reliability metrics and drive improvements.
