You will interpret telephone conversations across multiple industries, learning industry-specific terminology and maintaining cultural sensitivity. Training and support are provided, with advancement opportunities within the organization.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Dewoin and English with cultural competency.
• Ability to assess regional and accent differences to communicate with LEP.
• Excellent listening, retention and note-taking for accurate interpretation.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Remote work from home; quiet, secure space is essential.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to interpreting sessions in a friendly, professional manner.
• Render correct concepts according to interpretation protocol, avoiding omissions or additions.
• Speak clearly in both languages with proper pronunciation and polite expressions.
• Maintain a professional demeanor throughout sessions.
• Remain calm on calls, including emergency or highly emotional scenarios.
• Follow client instructions per protocol to meet LEP needs.
• Understand terminology for Medical, Insurance, Finance and Law industries.
• Demonstrate commitment to cultural sensitivity in a diverse environment.
• Some calls may be lengthy or emotionally charged; provide required service with standards.
