Qualifications

• Barese and English fluency with cultural dynamics.
• Assess regional/accent differences for LEP communication.
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking for accuracy.
• Remain neutral and objective on sensitive topics.
• Education or work experience in language-related fields preferred.
• Must be at least 18 and legally eligible to work in the US.
• Background check may be required based on location.
• Reading and writing of the requested languages is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to interpreting sessions in a friendly and professional manner.
• Render correct concepts and meanings according to interpretation protocol.
• Speak clearly in both languages with proper pronunciation.
• Maintain a professional demeanor throughout sessions.
• Remain calm during emotional or emergency calls (911).
• Maintain punctuality and availability during work hours.
• Follow client instructions to ensure client privacy and protocol compliance.
• Understand protocol across Medical, Insurance, Finance and Law.
• Demonstrate commitment to cultural sensitivity in a diverse environment.
• Handle calls that may be lengthy or high-volume with composure.
