LanguageLine Solutions LLC is hiring a Mnong-English Phone Interpreter working from home in the United States. This independent contractor role focuses on interpreting across industries, including healthcare, government, finance, and 911, delivering accurate verbal translations without written translation, in a remote home-office setup.

Effective candidates will be fluent in Mnong and English, demonstrate cultural competency, and maintain professionalism on sensitive topics.

Competenze

• Fluency in Mnong and English with cultural understanding.
• Ability to assess regional/accent differences to communicate with LEP.
• Excellent listening, retention and note-taking for accurate interpretation.
• Ability to stay neutral and objective on sensitive topics.
• Willingness to adapt to LanguageLine technology enhancements.
• Must be at least 18 and legally eligible to work in the United States.

• Respond to interpreting sessions promptly in a friendly, professional manner.
• Render accurate meanings per interpretation protocol without omissions or additions.
• Speak clearly in both languages with proper pronunciation and expressions.
• Maintain professionalism throughout sessions.
• Remain calm in emergency or high-volume calls (e.g., 911-related).
• Maintain punctuality and availability during work hours.
• Follow client instructions to meet LEP needs and protect client confidentiality.
• Understand industry terminology for Medical, Insurance, Finance, Law.
• Demonstrate commitment to cultural sensitivity in a diverse environment.
• Some calls may be emotional or long; provide required service within policy.
