Job summary

OpenTalent is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer for a 100% remote role in the United States. The candidate must be able to obtain Public Trust and work as a W2 employee (no C2C).

The role focuses on implementing secure CI/CD pipelines, automated deployment workflows, and robust IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, and CDK. Strong emphasis on security, automation, and release management will be required.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing modern DevSecOps practices and secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong background in infrastructure as code, automation, and release processes.
• Familiarity with vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and policy enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain modern DevSecOps practices, including secure CI/CD pipelines, automated build and deployment workflows, quality gates, vulnerability scanning, secrets management, policy enforcement, and release automation.
• Develop, maintain, and improve Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, or comparable tooling.
