Job summary

OpenTalent is seeking a fully remote DevSecOps Engineer (CMS) to lead the secure CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments for an enterprise DoD-focused case management solution. You will automate provisioning with IaC, integrate RMF/DISA controls, and ensure secure code practices across teams.

The role requires active Secret clearance and 7+ years in DevSecOps or cloud engineering, with experience in AWS GovCloud and DoD-approved platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
Active Secret clearance.
7+ years of experience in DevSecOps, software automation, or cloud infrastructure engineering.
Experience supporting secure cloud environments within AWS GovCloud or DoD-accredited platforms.
Strong IaC and secure CI/CD implementation experience.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for secure builds, tests, and deployments across environments.
Develop and manage containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes in AWS GovCloud.
Implement IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation to automate provisioning and config management.
Integrate automated security scans and RMF/DISA STIG baselines into pipelines.
Support monitoring with AWS CloudWatch, GuardDuty, and vulnerability tools (Nessus/ACAS).
Collaborate with security teams to enforce Zero Trust architecture and secure coding practices.
Develop DevSecOps plans, playbooks, and SOPs documenting secure build and deployment processes.
Lead performance tuning, scalability planning, and incident response for CI/CD infra.
