Job summary

SailPoint Technologies is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to secure and operate our large-scale SaaS platform hosted in AWS. You will work with Infrastructure and Platform Services to implement and maintain security across cloud environments, containers, and production systems.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Engineering, Product, and Services teams, building automation, and ensuring continuous product availability for global customers.

Qualifications

• Experience securing and operating a large-scale SaaS platform.
• Proficiency with AWS cloud security and automation (Terraform).
• Strong scripting in Python and automation capabilities.
• Experience with container security and production-grade security tooling.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve cloud system security across the SaaS platform.
• Collaborate with software engineers to ensure secure feature delivery.
• Automate repetitive tasks with scripts and tooling.
• Maintain secure servers, apps, and cloud infrastructure.
• Investigate vulnerabilities and outages; drive remediation.
• Collect security and compliance evidence for audits (SOC, ISO).
• Secure containers (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud environments.
• Participate in on-call rotation for production issues.
