Job summary

Millennium Corporation is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer – DevSecOps to support cybersecurity, software assurance, and security engineering activities in a DoD/DoN environment. This position is 100% remote and emphasizes securing the software development lifecycle, including app security, CI/CD pipeline security, container security, and vulnerability management to meet DoD requirements.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required for DoD/DoN work.
• 8+ years of relevant DoD cybersecurity/engineering experience or 13+ years with HS diploma.
• Experience with RMF and DoDI 8510.01.
• IAM Level II certification (CISSP, GSLC, or CISM) per DoD 8570.01-M.
• Experience with DISA STIGs/SRGs and DoD cybersecurity requirements.
• Experience with SAST/DAST and CI/CD security in DevSecOps.
• Experience with GitLab security tooling and vulnerability remediation.

Responsibilities

• Perform code and container vulnerability assessments using DoD tools and STIGs.
• Implement OS security configurations per DISA STIGs and SRGs.
• Conduct cybersecurity reviews, audits, and risk analyses.
• Apply SAST/DAST across the software development lifecycle.
• Review and enforce CI/CD security controls and policies.
• Act as GitLab security reviewer for merge requests and remediation tracking.
• Collaborate with teams to address NeuVector findings and security policies.
• Prepare RMF artifacts and DoD/Navy documentation as needed.
• Support DoD/DON cybersecurity requirements across programs.
