Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a fully remote cybersecurity engineer to support software assurance within DoD and DoN environments. You will integrate cybersecurity across the software development lifecycle from code to deployment.

Key responsibilities include conducting vulnerability assessments, applying SAST/DAST methods, and integrating security controls into CI/CD pipelines. Must hold an Active Secret clearance and IAM Level II certification.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance and DoD 8570 IAM Level II certification required.
• Experience with RMF, STIGs, SAST/DAST, and GitLab security tools.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct code and container vulnerability assessments using DoD scanning tools, DISA STIGs, and SRGs.
• Apply SAST and DAST methodologies and integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
• Serve as a GitLab security reviewer and track vulnerability findings through closure.
