Job summary

Millennium is seeking a remote AWS DevOps Engineer to support NIWC Atlantic E2S2. You will design, optimize, and sustain AWS cloud environments for MCSC IT systems in a fast-paced, government-contracted setting.

This mid-to-senior role requires an Active Secret Security Clearance and involves collaboration with stakeholders, automation leadership, and documentation for compliance artifacts. Occasional site visits to Charleston, SC will be required.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
• ABET-accredited STEM degree or equivalent.
• 10+ years with a masters or 14+ years with a bachelors in software/network engineering.
• Experience designing and maintaining software and network solutions.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and maintain high-performing AWS environments using IaC and automation.
• Diagnose complex cloud issues and support cloud infrastructure reliability.
• Collaborate with IT, security, and project teams to align infra with goals.
• Lead automation initiatives and mentor junior engineers.
• Create documentation for architecture decisions and compliance artifacts.
