Job summary

Openforce is seeking a DevOps/SRE Engineer to enhance reliability, scalability, and performance across our SaaS platforms. You will build and maintain monitoring, observability, and automation across cloud services, containers, and deployment pipelines.

The role emphasizes on-call readiness, cross-functional collaboration, and ongoing modernization of legacy applications using scripts and IaC. A strong AWS background and Datadog expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as an SRE/DevOps or related role with app support experience.
• Strong hands-on AWS experience (EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch).
• Datadog monitoring and observability expertise.
• Scripting/automation in PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ruby, etc.
• Experience designing/maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).
• Familiarity with IaC tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain monitoring and observability solutions using Datadog.
• Design, implement, and optimize automation scripts to improve reliability and modernize legacy apps.
• Manage container orchestration platforms (Docker, ECS, EKS) and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive long-term solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and third-party partners to address escalations and improve performance.
• Participate in on-call rotations and contribute across the full software lifecycle.
