Job summary
Piper Companies is seeking a DevOps Technical Lead to support modernization efforts within a government-focused technology organization. The DevOps Technical Lead will lead CI/CD strategy, automation initiatives, and software delivery processes while mentoring engineers and providing technical direction to a team of engineers.

Qualifications
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- 7+ years of DevOps, Cloud, or Platform Engineering experience.
- Extensive experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps).
- Experience supporting cloud-based environments and containers/orchestration.
- Previous technical leadership experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and optimization of CI/CD pipelines across multiple applications.
- Implement automation solutions to improve delivery speed and reliability.
- Establish DevOps best practices and deployment standards.
- Collaborate with development, security, and infrastructure teams to streamline delivery processes.
- Mentor engineers and provide leadership on automation and release management.
- Drive continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.
