Job summary

Experian is seeking a DevOps Engineer I to automate, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud-based production systems, ensuring uptime, performance, and security. The role requires practical CI/CD experience, Python with AWS Boto3, and infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation.

The successful candidate will manage GitHub Actions workflows, Artifactory packaging, and multi-environment deployments, with potential for telecommuting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems, IT, Computer Engineering, or related field with 1 year of related experience.
• Experience supporting DevOps concepts focused on CI/CD and pipeline management (e.g., git workflows, multi-environment deployments).
• Experience with AWS management (EC2, S3, DynamoDB, etc.).
• Experience with Python programming using AWS Boto3 SDK.
• Experience with creating and managing Terraform templates and deployment processes.
• Experience using CloudFormation, creating and managing templates.

Responsibilities

• Automate, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud-based production systems for availability, performance, scalability, and security.
• Maintain and support CI/CD pipelines across environments (GitHub Actions, Harness IO, AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodePipeline).
• Manage source code and package repositories (GitHub and Artifactory).
• Understand deployment and infrastructure troubleshooting in AWS.
