Job summary

Cologix, Inc. is seeking an IT Systems DevOps Engineer to join our Systems Administration team in a remote-friendly setting. You will design, deploy, and monitor automation services that support core business operations and streamline processes across various systems.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in DevOps, strong Linux administration, and experience with Ansible, AWS, and scripting. Certification in AWS is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps within production environments.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix system administration and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, PHP, Perl, or Ruby.
• AWS architecture knowledge and related certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the implementation and optimization of DevOps practices.
• Collaborate with vendors, engineering teams, and operations to deliver scalable solutions.
• Develop standards, policies, and best practices for DevOps environments.
• Design, deploy, and manage automated, repeatable systems and workflows.
• Own release management activities and ensure controlled deployments.
• Maintain systems and toolsets used across development and production.
• Create and maintain documentation for DevOps processes and systems.
