Newel Health is seeking a DevOps Engineer to scale and secure cloud-native infrastructure for regulated SaMD products. You will own IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and security in a healthcare-grade environment.

The role emphasizes compliance with ISO 13485, IEC 62304, GDPR, HIPAA, and mandated audit readiness while supporting a remote-first culture and cross-functional collaboration with product, engineering, and QA teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in DevOps/SRE in health tech or regulated env.
• Proficiency in AWS/GCP/Azure and container orchestration (Kubernetes/Serverless).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, security hardening, and healthcare data standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/GCP/AZURE) for SaMD deployments.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery of SaMD services.
• Ensure regulatory alignment (ISO 13485, IEC 62304, GDPR, HIPAA) and audit readiness.
• Implement IaC using Terraform or similar tools.
• Set up security controls, monitoring, and incident response for production infra.
