Job summary

Ripjar, a remote-first team, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to ensure reliability and security of our infrastructure and services. You will automate deployment, manage Linux systems, design networks, and integrate security testing and monitoring into pipelines.

Qualifications

• Strong experience administering Linux hosts in virtual and physical environments.
• Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management tooling (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Experience automating tasks using Bash, Python, JavaScript; familiarity with monitoring and security testing tooling.

Responsibilities

• Automate the deployment, operation and maintenance of systems in a hybrid cloud environment using Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management tooling.
• Administer systems and applications hosted on Linux-based systems.
• Design, deploy and maintain IP networks for scalable infrastructure.
• Improve code security by integrating security testing tools into build and deployment pipelines.
• Implement effective monitoring of the reliability and security of applications and infrastructure services.
