Ripjar, a remote-first software and data company, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to ensure the reliability and security of our infrastructure powering financial crime analytics.

You will automate deployment in a hybrid cloud with IaC, administer Linux hosts, design networks, and integrate security testing and monitoring into pipelines.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Linux hosts in virtual/physical environments.
• Strong skills with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and networking basics.
• Automation using Bash, Python, JavaScript, and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with security testing and monitoring in pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Automate deployment and maintenance of systems in a hybrid cloud environment.
• Administer Linux-based infrastructure and design IP networks.
• Improve security by integrating testing tools into build/deploy pipelines.
• Implement monitoring for application and infrastructure reliability and security.
