Job summary

Cologix is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Denver to design, deploy, and monitor automation that supports core business operations. You will collaborate across engineering and operations to implement scalable DevOps practices and standardize processes.

Day-to-day includes release coordination, documentation, and establishing tools across dev and prod environments. The role requires 3+ years in DevOps and infrastructure engineering with strong Linux and scripting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in DevOps and 3+ years in infrastructure or systems engineering.
• Strong Linux/Unix admin skills and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible.
• Experience with open-source tech and cloud platforms; AWS cert preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the implementation of new products while supporting DevOps practices across Engineering.
• Collaborate with vendors, engineering teams, and peer operations to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
• Develop and establish organizational standards, policies, procedures, and best practices for DevOps environments.
• Design and implement simple, repeatable, and reliable solutions that streamline systems and workflows.
• Own and coordinate release management activities for deployments.
• Establish, maintain, and support systems and tools used across development and production environments.
• Develop, administer, and maintain version control systems and processes.
• Maintain a comprehensive documentation library for DevOps systems and processes.
• Create technical and operational docs for new systems to enable knowledge transfer to support teams.
