Job summary

Cloudbeds is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our fully remote US team. You will architect and scale infrastructure in AWS, help build the Kubernetes platform, and drive CI/CD with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD to production.

You’ll collaborate with a global engineering crew to implement IaC with Terraform, enhance security, reliability, and performance, and support development teams from code to deployment. Proficiency in Bash/Python scripting, Linux system knowledge, and strong English

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of DevOps experience with AWS (EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, SQS, CloudWatch, IAM).
• 2+ years of Kubernetes experience (preferably EKS), Helm and Docker.
• Experience with IaC methodologies such as Terraform.
• Experience designing, building, and supporting CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD/gitops).
• Experience with web app servers (NGiNX, Ingress controllers, load balancing), databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Aurora), caches (Redis/Memcached), and queues (SQS).
• Proficient in Bash/Python scripting and strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Architect and improve Cloudbeds infrastructure in AWS.
• Help build the Kubernetes platform.
• Automate the platform with IaC and configuration management.
• Drive successful product and engineering projects to production.
• Evolve system security, reliability, scalability, performance, and quality.
• Support development teams with sharing DevOps best practices and expertise, assist in environment configuration.
• On-call rotation support for production outages.
