Job summary

Cloudbeds is seeking a DevOps Engineer to architect and enhance our AWS-based infrastructure and Kubernetes platform. You will drive IaC automation, build CI/CD pipelines, and ensure secure, scalable production environments in a fully remote, globally distributed team.

The role requires 3+ years with AWS and 2+ years in Kubernetes, plus strong Bash/Python scripting and English communication. Compensation ranges from $90k to $120k USD annually, with full remote flexibility for US-based candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with AWS (EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, SQS, CloudWatch, IAM).
• 2+ years of strong experience in Kubernetes (preferably EKS), Helm and Docker.
• Experience designing, building, and supporting CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions and ArgoCD/gitops).
• Experience with IaC methodologies such as Terraform.
• Experience with web application servers (NGINX, Ingress controllers), databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Aurora) and cache/queue tech (Redis, Memcached, SQS).
• Ability to write Bash/Python scripts and work in a remote/global team.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Architect and improve Cloudbeds’ infrastructure in AWS.
• Help build the Kubernetes platform and automate the platform with IaC and configuration management.
• Drive successful product and engineering projects to production.
• Evolve system security, reliability, scalability, performance, and quality.
• Support dev teams with DevOps best practices and infrastructure configuration.
• Manage on-call rotation for production outages.
