Job summary

Cloudbeds seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer to architect and scale our AWS infrastructure. You will help build the Kubernetes platform, automate the platform with IaC, and drive production readiness across our remote, globally distributed team.

This role demands strong AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform, CI/CD expertise, and scripting in Bash or Python. You’ll collaborate with developers to improve security, reliability, performance, and scalability, while supporting on-call rotations and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years as a DevOps Engineer with AWS (EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, SQS, CloudWatch, IAM).
• 2+ years of Kubernetes experience (preferably EKS), Helm and Docker.
• Experience with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
• Experience with web servers (NGiNX), databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Aurora) and queues (SQS).

Responsibilities

• Architect and improve Cloudbeds’ infrastructure in AWS.
• Help build the Kubernetes platform.
• Automate the platform with IaC and configuration management.
• Drive successful product and engineering projects to production.
• Evolve system security, reliability, scalability, performance and quality.
• Support development teams with DevOps best practices and on-call rotation.
