Job summary

Cloudbeds is hiring a DevOps Engineer to design and enhance our AWS-based infrastructure and Kubernetes platform. You will automate platforms with infrastructure-as-code, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and help ensure security, reliability, and performance across services in a remote, globally distributed team.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in DevOps with AWS and 2+ years in Kubernetes (EKS preferred), plus experience with Terraform, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with AWS.
• 2+ years of experience in Kubernetes (preferably EKS).
• Experience with containerization and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with IaC (Terraform).
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
• Experience with web servers, databases, caches, and queues.
• Ability to write Bash/Python scripts.
• Strong written and verbal English.
• Ability to work remotely in a global team.

Responsibilities

• Architect and improve Cloudbeds’ infrastructure in AWS.
• Help build the Kubernetes platform.
• Automate the platform with IaC and config management.
• Drive successful product and engineering projects to production.
• Evolve security, reliability, scalability, performance, and quality.
• Share DevOps best practices with development teams and assist with configuration.
• Participate in on-call rotation for production outages.
