Job summary

Playworks NYNJ is seeking a Development Manager who reports to the Executive Director and drives the region's fund development strategy. This role oversees grants, sponsorships, and donor relations, coordinating with the National Development Team while focusing on renewals and growth.

Responsibilities include grant strategy and writing, grants calendar management, Salesforce upkeep, and communications to partners.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in development or fundraising operations.
• Proven success writing and securing foundation, corporate, and government grants.
• Experience managing the full grant lifecycle from prospect research through reporting.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate, foundation, and individual partners.
• Lead grant writing, submissions, and reporting.
• Coordinate grants calendar and renewals.
• Support Salesforce administration and reporting.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Program teams on content for fundraising.
