Job summary

Playworks Colorado seeks a Development Manager to lead fundraising, donor relations, and event execution under the Executive Director. You will oversee development operations, Salesforce, stewardship, and grant coordination while aligning with Colorado priorities.

This role collaborates with the HQ Development Team and the Colorado leadership, driving strategy execution and ensuring successful partner engagement across events, sponsorships, and donor channels.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in development, fundraising operations, or related nonprofit roles.
• Demonstrated experience managing donor relationships, events, and revenue goals.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills; able to manage multiple timelines and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a defined portfolio of corporate, foundation, and individual partners, aligning with Executive Director priorities and fundraising goals.
• Steward and upgrade grants, sponsorships and engagement opportunities; lead early cultivation and next steps.
• Coordinate Colorado efforts with HQ Development Team and own grant coordination and reporting.
• Plan and execute core fundraising events; manage budgets and sponsor fulfillment.
• Lead the Young Professional Board recruitment, retention, and annual goals.
• Oversee Salesforce and development systems; ensure data accuracy and reliable reporting.
• Develop development communications, partner acknowledgments, and newsletters.
